This wine is a Spier Signature Pinotage. It is a red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes. It is easygoing and unpretentious, and is excellent company. It has beautiful perfumed notes of black cherry, forest berries, and subtle allspice. The wine has a smooth, rounded mid-palate with balanced acidity and a lingering, fruity aftertaste. The wine is vegan, and is available in a 750ml bottle.
With its dark and juicy fruit and silky tannins, this easygoing and unpretentious red is excellent company no matter the night of the week. Although it plays nice with most red meats (sweet and sticky pulled pork anyone?!) we love it with bobotie and other Cape Malay-style curries.
