The Ajax Glassprotect White - Glass Break Detector 9m senses sound waves and uses an electret microphone to detect when glass has been broken. The detector has a break detection distance of up to 9 meters and a microphone coverage angle of 180 degrees. The detector operates at frequencies of 868.0 - 868.6 MHz and has a battery life of up to 7 years. The detector is made by Ajax and is model BD428W.
