When the electromagnet is powered up with 12Volts the current passes through the electromagnet and creates a magnetic flux that allows the armature plate to attract to the electromagnet and creating a secure locking action. The magnetic lock is cost effective and easy to install. The magnetic lock is durable and has no residual magnetism or mechanical wear making it virtually maintenance free. The magnetic lock has a low energy consumption and is engineered to fit all doors opening at 90 degrees. The magnetic lock is suitable for indoor use only.
