Description
This product is an outdoor movement detector designed to detect intruders and wirelessly transmit the information to a Roboguard Base station. The product features two dual-element passive infrared sensors that each sense the presence of a intruder at 20 meters in an arc of 110. The product is housed in high pressure moulded Poly-Carb blend and has an anti-tamper switch that protects the detector even when it is switched off. The product also has a resident buzzer that makes user diagnostics and setting up childs play. The product has an algorithm selection for intruder detection that eliminates false alarms. The product has lenses made with Poly IR6 a U.S. patented material and carry a 10 year warranty against ultra-violet damage. The product has a 30 micro-amp current consumption and 8xC type batteries that give extended life (3-5 years typically). The product is totally impervious to lightning.
