Description
San Juan Mezcal is a type of artisanal mezcal made from 100% Espad*n, a type of agave plant, that is hand-harvested from the Oaxaca Valley plains. The production process involves roasting the agave in a stone-lined pit at ground level, milling it using a horse-pulled millstone, fermenting it in 2,500-litre pine vats, and double distilling it in copper stills. Only 1,600 bottles of this mezcal were produced, each with a bottle size of 750ml and an alcohol content of 47.5%.
