In light of recent events and for clarification:The Snom M90 is equipped with a seamless antibacterial coating. Antibacterial means that some, but not all, bacteria are prevented from surviving on the surface of the device. Significantly, an antibacterial coating does not prevent viruses.
However, thanks to its surface, the M90 can also be cleaned in a moist environment, i.e. with disinfectants containing alcohol (ethanol). This also provides protection against viruses, but not against all of them. With regard to new types of viruses such as the COVID-2019 (Corona), the WHO has not yet been able to specify which disinfectants really help, so until this information is available, there is no guarantee that COVID-2019 can be removed.
