Description
The Eaton 9SX UPS is a 1500 VA, 1350 W on-line UPS. It has 6 C13 AC outlet couplers and a C14 power plug coupler. It has a battery technology of Sealed Lead Acid (VRLA) and a typical backup time at half load of 16 min. The Eaton 9SX UPS is a tower form factor and is black in color.

Performance and Availability
Double-conversion topology. The Eaton 9SX constantly monitorspower conditions and regulates voltage and frequency.
The internal bypass allows service continuity in case of internalfault, a maintenance bypass is also available (as option) foreasy replacement of the UPS without powering down criticalsystems.
With a 0.9 power factor the 9SX delivers 28% more power thanUPS in its class. It powers more servers than other UPSs withequivalent VA ratings and lower power factors.
Stronger, longer battery life: Eaton ABMbattery managementtechnology uses an innovative three-stage charging techniquethat extends battery life by up to 50%. 9SX also providesrecommended replacement date for batteries.
Manageability
The new graphical LCD provides clear information on the UPSs status and measurements on a single screen. Enhanced configuration capabilities are also available.
The 9SX can meter energy consumption. kWh values can be monitored using the LCD or Eatons Intelligent PowerSoftware.
Load segment control enables prioritised shutdowns ofnonessential equipment to maximise battery runtime forcritical devices.
9SX offers Serial, USB connectivity, plus an extra slot for anoptional communication card. Eatons Intelligent PowerSoftware seamlessly integrates with leading virtualisationenvironments and cloud orchestrations tools.
Flexibility
One platform, two factors, dozens of choices. Up to 3000 VAof UPS power is packed into only 2U of rack space. The toweroption is about the size of a modern, compact PC.
More runtime can be added with up to 4 external hot-swappablebattery modules, able to run systems for hoursifnecessary.Theadditional battery modules are automatically recognized by theUPS.
