Dried hibiscus flowers are traditionally used in making teas, but they can also be used in a variety of other ways. Hibiscus is affected by pH, so it may change color depending on the liquids it is in.
Dried hibiscus flowers are traditionally used in making teas but they also add a beautiful floral touch to soups and breads, for example (you can mix them into bread dough before baking). You can use infused hibiscus to make your own beneficial hair and skin rinses and face masks and they're a popular natural colourant in many DIY products. They also make lovely decorations for table settings, homemade cards, gifts and the like.

USES & BENEFITS
To make hibiscus tea simply steep a few hibiscus petals in a cup of hot water or tea pot

NOTE
Hibiscus is affected by pH. In acidic liquids it may go a deeper red hue, while in basic/alkaline liquids if will go more purple, blue or even green. Please keep this in mind when using as a colourant in products where pH is of concern.
