Description
Batman & Robin is a 1997 American superhero film directed by Joel Schumacher and written by Akiva Goldsman, from a story by Schumacher and Goldsman. It is the fourth and final installment in the Batman film series, and stars George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Uma Thurman, and Chris O'Donnell. The film is set two years after the events of Batman & Robin (1997), and features the return of Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone).
Batman & Robin was met with mixed reviews from critics. However, it was a financial success, grossing over $330 million at the worldwide box office.

Synopsis
Superstars George Clooney and Arnold Schwarzenegger face off as the coolest--and the cruelest--villain to ever stalk Gotham City comes after its courageous caped crusaders, Batman & Robin. When the evil Mr. Freeze (Schwarzenegger) teams up with toxic Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman) to freeze Gotham City and destroy its residents, the end appears near for superheroes Batman (George Clooney) and Robin (Chris O'Donnell).
