The Ethiopian Red Terror Trials are a series of trials held to try the leaders of the Derg, a communist government that ruled Ethiopia from 1974 to 1991. The trials have been criticized for being unfair and not meeting the standards of transitional justice.

This collection analyses the approach taken by the current government of Ethiopia to deal with the massive human rights violations that took place from 1974 to 1991 under the Derg.
