The soft grip padded legs and folded length of 25 inches make this lightweight tripod easy to carry too. The 3 position leg angle locks allow lowering the tripod for macro photography work. It also has a short center column built in, just unscrew the column into two pieces and it becomes 6.5 inches shorter.
