Description
This passage describes the smell of a perfume called Rosam. It was created by Gerald Ghislain, a Moroccan gourmet and perfume historian, in memory of a rose perfume called Taif. The perfume has a mix of exotic incense from the far east, rugged leather of the traders, and the warm, musky smell of the pack getting their first drink. This scent reminds the author of summer evenings with Osman the First, a decadent and gracious host.
