Description
The AD20.5 is a clip point knife with a Shark Lock mechanism. It is available in two variations, a clip point and a shark foot sheepsfoot. The clip point has a shorter blade and a smaller overall length, while the shark foot sheepsfoot has a longer blade and a larger overall length. The blade is made of AUS10 steel and is 3.1 mm thick. The knife has a flat grind, a DLC finish, and an orange Grivory handle. The knife is stainless steel pocket clip (tip-up, right carry) and has bearings for the pivot assembly.
The AD20.5 by Demko Knives features the impressive Shark Lock and an even more impressive price point. After handling a plethora of MG AD20s, we can safely say that this is a very dutiful representation of that awesome mid-tech design. It's slightly smaller all-around and definitely thinner, which makes this much more suited for everyday carry than tactical encounters. The Shark Lock mechanism is situated on the spine of the knife and operated with a ramp-like fin, allowing you to flip the blade open and closed at will. It's probably the best thing about this knife and design, how quickly it can be deployed and ready for action. It acts as a blade launcher and a little wrist action is all it needs. The AD20.5 is available in two variations, a clip point and a shark foot sheepsfoot.
