Warnings:
Probably the only oil that can safely be used neat (in very small amounts) and during pregnancy HOWEVER, as Lavender promotes menstruation, it must be avoided in early pregnancy if there is a history or serious risk of miscarriage
Properties of lavender essential oil:
As early as 2500 years ago, lavender has been used by the Egyptians, Arabians end Phoenicians as perfume, but its therapeutic properties have only been known since the nineteenth century, where it was used in France to prevent tuberculosis.
