Description
Beyond the Shadows is the third game in the Thorgal series. Thorgal is a shadow of his former self, consumed with remorse for his past actions. Shania, a young woman who has been following him for years, helps him to recover and protect him. Two strangers, Worgan and Galathorn, offer to help them find Aaricia, who is still alive but is being held captive in the court of Brek Zarith. Sharder, the illegitimate king of Brek Zarith, is using and abusing his powers to stay in power, and he is using Aaricia to keep Thorgal in check. Thorgal will try to enter Brek Zarith alone to save his wife and son.
Taken aback by Aaricia's disappearance, Thorgal is only a shadow of his former self. Eaten away with remorse, the young Shania accompanies him and protects him, hoping to find his pardon. Approached by two strangers, Worgan and Galathorn, they discover that Aaricia is still alive but held captive in the court of Brek Zarith. Ready to do anything to keep himself in power, the illegitimate master of this kingdom, Sharder, uses and abuses his evil powers. Despite all this, Thorgal will try, alone, to penetrate the impregnable fortress of Brek Zarith to save his wife and his son, Jolan.
