When the jar is initially sealed, the tamper-evident seal is securely fastened around the neck of the jar, holding the lid in place.To open the jar, the consumer must break the tamper-evident seal by applying force to the lid. This can be done by twisting or pulling on the lid, causing the seal to break or tear away from the jar. The pop-up button is located in the center of the lid and is designed to depress or "pop up" when the seal is broken, providing a clear visual indication that the jar has been opened.
