This essential oil is derived from a Juniperus tree, but it contains similar properties to the true Cedarwood. It is used to treat a variety of ailments, and is also popular for use in men's cosmetics.
Umuthi Botanicals Cedarwood Virginia essential oil. While this oil is called Cedarwood Virginia, it is not derived from a true Cedar. It is in fact a Juniperus, but it does contain very similar properties to the true Cedarwood. Known as the 'Medicine Tree' by the Native American tribes as it was used by them, to treat many ailments. This oil is an astringent and an antiseptic so is good to use in many DIY cosmetics, especially those for problem skin.
