Deionized water is water that has been passed through an ion exchange process, which removes ions and salts, carbon dioxide, and other contaminants that are found in normal water. In cosmetics and skincare, deionized water is essential in emulsions and other products containing water, as the interaction between components is minimised, meaning less chance for contamination and destabilization of the formula. Deionized water also has a surprising number of other handy applications - more on those below. Sizes: 1L, 5L or 25L.
