Description
The OUTREACH Lite GXT Outdoor Gigabit Ethernet Extender from Veracity is a device that can be used to extend the reach of your wired Ethernet network by up to 328 feet using Cat 5e cable or better. The device is powered by PoE and has a weather-resistant enclosure. Setup is simple, and the device automatically determines the optimal network speed, duplex and crossover on connection. The OUTREACH Lite GXT also supports 802.3af/at/bt POE standards, so it can be powered by a network connection. If a network switch has PoE, simply connect the OUTREACH Lite GXT up to 328 feetfrom the switch to extend your connection another 328 feetover regular Cat 5e or similar cable. If PoE is not available, the link can be upgraded using an optional PoE injector (not included).

Simple Setup
OUTREACH Lite GXT supports 802.3af/at/bt POE standards, so it can draw power from a network connection. If your network switch has PoE, simply connect an OUTREACH Lite GXT up to 328 feetfrom the switch to extend your connection another 328 feetover regular Cat 5e or similar cable. If PoE is not available, the link can be upgraded using an optional PoE injector (not included). No setup or network configuration is required, as OUTREACH Lite GXT automatically determines the optimal network speed, duplex and crossover on connection, and does not require an IP or MAC address.

If a network extension beyond 656 feetis required, Veracity's optional OUTREACH Max GXT may be installed to extend Ethernet and PoE to OUTREACH Lite GXT. For example, a 984 feetconnection between a PoE switch and another network device can be achieved by fitting an OUTREACH Max GXT at 328 feetalong the cable, followed by another 328 feetto an OUTREACH Lite GXT, and up to 328 feetto a non-PoE networked end-point device, such as another switch or a wireless access point. The OUTREACH Max GXT is sold separately.
Dependability
The OUTREACH Lite GXT restores network connection every 328 feet, which helps to ensure full Gigabit Ethernet bandwidth while minimizing the risk of reduced or unpredictable bandwidth, even at distances of several hundred feet or more.
Installation
The OUTREACH Lite GXT boasts easy-to-fit cable seals for cables with existing RJ45 plugs, and it can be mounted to a wall using the included detachable bracket.
