Description
Sheep sorrel is a herb that is used to treat a variety of issues, including excessive menstruation, mouth ulcers, sore throats, fever, and inflammation. It can also be used as a blood purifier and for liver detoxification and cleansing. It is also helpful in the treatment of worm infestations. Finally, sheep sorrel can be used as a tea to treat skin diseases, boils, abscesses, and sores.
Sheep Sorrel has a long history of traditional use as an astringent, diuretic and mild laxative. Also used to treat and assist with poor digestion and the removal of bile from the system.

AS A TEA
Infusion: 1-2 teaspoons of herb in 1 cup of boiling water. Infuse for 10-15 minutes. Strain. Drink 2-3 times per day.Can also be drunk cold to assist with lowering fevers.

PROPERTIES
Antiscorbutic, astringent, diuretic, laxative, febrifuge, vermifuge.
WARNINGS
May cause poisoning in large doses.
Do not use it when pregnant or whilst breastfeeding.
Not recommended for use by people with liver or kidney disease.
May cause vomiting.
