TheHatsan Hydra QE PCP Air Rifle - 5.5mm is a multi-caliber interchangeable, multi-shot, bolt action pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle. Its Caliber-specific receiver modules can be easily removed and installed with a single thumb screw.
It features a QuietEnergy fully shrouded barrel with an integrated sound moderator, which reduces noise by up to 50%. It has a genuine Turkish walnut ambidextrous & ergonomic stock with a Monte Carlo cheekpiece for comfort and optimal operation.
It also offers users a detachable 12-shot magazine, a Picatinny rail-milled receiver, checkering on grips for better comfort and feel, and an adjustable rubber butt pad. It is powered by a 165cc steel air cylinder, with a built-in pressure gauge to monitor the cylinder pressure. It has a manual safety and a patented anti-knock system to prevent the discharge of the rifle when rifle is knocked or bounced.
Hydras patented Versi-Cal Technology (VCT) system couples a caliber-specific receiver and barrel into a single interchangeable module. It allows for quick and simple multi-caliber interchangeability. Unscrew the convenient upper receiver bolt to switch between.177,.22, or.25 caliber variants. This allows a scope to remain mounted and zeroed with each caliber barrel/receiver module, eliminating the need to re-zero each time the barrel is interchanged.
