The Cold Steel 49KST Steel Tiger is a tactical knife that is designed with a comfortable, non-slip grip. The blade is made of Japanese AUS-8 stainless steel and is sub-zero quenched, taper ground, and highly polished. The Griv-Ex core handle fully encapsulates the tang, emerging to create the bolster, thumb-shelf, and distinctive finger ring. The Steel Tiger also comes with a military style Secure-Ex sheath.

The Cold Steel 49KST Steel Tiger is a thoroughly modern tactical interpretation of an ancient Indonesian Karambit. The core is overmolded with Kraton, a more flexible and durable elastomer that creates a comfortable, non-slip grip. It provides comfort, ease of use, and strength all in one design.
The Steel Tiger's broad is deeply curved and it has needle-sharp blade.
The AUS-8 stainless steel blade is vacuum heat-treated and also sub-zero quenched, taper ground and highly polished.
In fact the tough and durable Griv-Ex core handle fully encapsulates the tang, emerging to create the bolster, thumb-shelf and distinctive finger ring.
For creating a superb, non-slip grip, The Griv-Ex core is then injection over-molded with premium Kray-Ex polymer. The blade has a satin finish and has the Steel Tiger logo etched on one side, and has "Cold Steel, Taiwan" etched on the other.
Moreover for safety, convenience and lightning quick access, the Steel Tiger also comes with a military style Secure-Ex sheath. The removable boot/belt clip is present so that that you can lash to your gear or retain on your person.
