Description
The Shelly Bypass is a device that can be used to bypass the Shelly 1L and Shelly Dimmer 2 if they are used with resistive loads below 20 watts. The Bypass is a small, compact device that is compatible with the Shelly 1L and Shelly Dimmer 2. The Bypass requires no power supply and is only 39 mm x 23 mm x 7 mm in size.
Shelly Bypass 1L for Resistive Loads Below 20w
Shelly Bypass is suitable for Shelly 1L for resistive loads below 20w without connected neutral or Shelly Dimmer 2 for loads below 10w without connected neutral.
The Shelly 1L and Shelly Dimmer 2 can work without a neutral wire in the gang box. However, they require a minimum load of 20 watts and if the load is lower than that you can install the Shelly Bypass in the ceiling rose/light fixture.
