Description
The wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon and it is from the Cederberg region in South Africa. It has a beautiful combination of blackcurrant and plums with subtle hints of cedar wood and clove spice. It is rich in flavor with a ripe tannin structure that has a velvet finish on the palate. The wine is best consumed within 5-9 years. It can be paired with whatever you like, but we recommend steak with a little fat, juicy lamb, home cooked berry sauce with a little cream, ostrich steaks and beef liver or beef dominated stews. The cheese to pair with the wine is The matured ones and not the bulk kind: beaufort, gouda, cheddar, double Gloucester, older Amsterdam and stilton. The wine comes in a 750ml bottle.
