This wine is a blend of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 23% Petit Verdot and 7% Cabernet franc. The wine displays a deep dark plum red center with a brilliant garnet rim. Aromas heady with brooding aromas of blackcurrant, blueberries, tobacco spice and cedar notes. There is a beautiful support of toasted vanilla spice in the background. The palate The palate is dense with ripe dark berry fruits. It is full and rich with a textured mid-palate leading to the beautifully dry but sumptuous tannins on the finish which linger forever. The wine pairs well with slow roasted lamb, grilled rib-eye steak with bone marrow or an oxtail stew.
