Description
The Cabriere Arnim Family Reserve is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The wine has an "aha" moment when they realized that the Arnim blend should have a different flavor than the Pinot Noir. The result is a full-bodied wine with both varietals shining.
Founded on the values of family, community and sharing, the von Arnim family of Haute Cabri*re have been harnessing the unique terroir of the Franschhoek Valley since the property was bought in 1982. The new, Arnim Family Reserve, is a pioneering blend of Syrah and Pinot Noir. The result is a full bodied blend where both varietals shine.
Intense red fruit and spice on the entry. The generous palate is layered with peppery blueberry fruit followed by hints of cedar, clove and smoke. Well balanced, firm acids and polished tannins complemented by sweet cherries on the long finish.
