Description
This wine is from the Grenl Op Die Berg vineyard in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. The wine has a deep purple hue and a bright violet rim. The nose is shy at first but opens beautifully into youthful, fresh, clean aromas of white pepper. The flavors are leafy and herbal, buchu, rosemary, with allspice and pepper complemented by the smooth, ripe, well-integrated tannins. The wine has a lot of finesse and is extremely elegant. The wine can be enjoyed on release, but will reward careful cellaring for up to 8 to 10 years. The bottle size is 750ml.
