Description
This wine is made from the Sangiovese grape, and has dark berry flavors, inky notes of violets and aniseed on the nose. The palate is dense without being heavy, a rich textural wine of ripe tannins, broad front palate and integrated oak. The structure accentuates the typical tannin structure of the grape; while the cool ripening reflected in the site of the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge gives a beguiling ripe fruit core to the wine. The wine is available in a 750ml bottle.
