Description
The wine is from an old Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard that is located on a rock-infested outcrop. The wine is aged in new French barriques for two years and then in the bottles for a further four years. The wine is 750ml.
Established on a rock-infested outcrop, these old Cabernet Sauvignon vines consistently produce fine wine. Bearing a mere 17-20 barrels of premium Cabernet a year, Springfield Methode Ancienne Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in cellar for two years in new French barriques, and for a further four years in the bottles prior to its release.
