Description
Straight Rye is a whiskey made from 70% Midwestern rye, 20% local corn, and 10% two-row malted barley. It is fermented with a wine yeast from Frances Loire Valley. The whiskey has a crisp grain with caramel and honey on the nose, and a luscious whiskey sweetness on the palate with spiciness that is accented by notes of pepper, ginger, and vanilla. The long, satisfying finish emphasises toasted oak, cherry, plum, and pear flavours.
FEW Straight Rye is aged inair-dried oak barrels.
