Description
This USB C 3.1 Cable 1M Male To Female Extension is a 1 meter long cable that is designed to extend the reach of a USB C port. It is gold-plated and is compatible with USB 3.1 devices. It also has a data and power direction that allows for bi-directional data transfer.
Special Notes: (1) if you are intended to extender your USB C Hub, we highly recommend you to choose the 30cm version to reduce the signal loss; but we would NOT recommend you to extend your mouse, keyboard or other USB peripherals via the USB interface on the hub due to signal attenuation, other video ports like HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort no problem. (2) this cable is NOT working with Samsung Dex Station.
Special Notes: (3) It is not fully compatible with thunderbolt 3, this means if you connect to a thunderbolt 3 docking/hub/cable, you will only get 10Gbps transfer speed (NOT 40Gbps) and only 4K video output (NOT 5K). (4) this cable may not work for extending your original type c cable for fast charging your USB-C phones or tablets because of the voltage issues.
