The Bokashi Bran Starter Kit includes a 25-liter food waste digester bucket, a measuring scoop, and if you don't have a branded Bokashi Bran container, you can use a counter container. The kit also includes 2 kilograms of authentic Bokashi Bran. The kit is designed to help get your family into "bokashi'ing." After filling the food waste digester bucket with food waste, you must leave it out of direct sunlight for 2 weeks to complete the fermentation process. During this time, you'll start your second bucket. After the 2 weeks of fermentation, add the bucket of bokashi-treated food waste to your compost pile to speed up the composting process and to add valuable nutrients back into your soil.

If you have a counter container you want to use instead of the branded Bokashi Bran container, then the starter kit is all you need to get your family into "bokashi'ing".
Once your bucket is full of food waste, with a sprinkle of authentic Bokashi Bran over every layer, leave the bucket out of direct sunlight for 2 weeks to complete the fermentation process. During this time, you'll start your second bucket.
