They work with local communities to provide food and income, as well as train farmers in sustainable farming techniques. They have planted over 4.6 million trees and helped to improve food security for over 17,500 communities.

Food & Trees for Africa run several different community and farming initiatives, ranging from community market gardens that provide food and a source of income for local communities, to FEED Africa, which helps to develop farmers by promoting bio-intensive techniques, coupled with training, farmer and supply chain support. They have trained over 1,500 farmers, served 17,500+ communities, and have facilitated the planting of more than 4.6 million trees so far!
