Leo Foods was established in Cape Town, in 1989, after an inspiring holiday in beautiful Italy highlighted the absence of delicious Italian-styled baked confection in South Africa. So began the story of our company, which, today, bakes a wide range of indulgent handmade cakes, tarts, biscuits and desserts using quality, local ingredients. We are proud to employ an all-female baking team from our local community who follow the traditional baking techniques still used in Italy today.
