Description
This is a non-contact infrared thermometer that has a lens to focus infrared light from one object onto a detector called a thermopile. The thermopile absorbs the infrared radiation and turns it into heat. The electricity is sent to a detector, which uses it to determine the temperature of the body without any physical contact. The thermometer has a range of 32 degrees Celsius to 42.2 degrees Celsius, has a built-in fever alarm, and has a digital display. It requires 2x 1.5V batteries, and has an automatic power-off feature that will shut off the thermometer after 60 seconds.
