Description
The Baby Banter is a small, compact knife that is perfect for everyday carry. It has a 2.34" blade that is made out of nitro-v stainless steel. The blade is thick and has a hardness of 58-60HRC. The handle is made out of wood and the knife has a nested liner lock. The pocket clip is stainless steel and it is tip-up, right and left-hand carry. The Baby Banter is designed by Ben Petersen and it is made in China.
First and foremost, the Baby Banter is an ideal size for everyday carry. The 2.34" blade is housed in a compact handle so the overall length is just a hair under five-and-a-half inches. The wide base gives you ample room to grip and places the cutting surface right next to the fingers for more leverage. It's a simple shape with simple wood and stainless steel liner construction but what it lacks in design aesthetics it more than makes up in terms of ergonomics and strength. It's comfortable, solid, and it just flat out gets the job done. Dual thumb studs allow multiple opening methods but the deep-carry pocket clip is set up for tip-up, right and left-hand carry. The jimping on the thumb ramp is ultra-functional and the lanyard hole is large enough for 550-paracord. Ben thought of everything on the Baby Banter and we welcome it as a small yet strong force to be reckoned with in the growing realm of EDC knives.
