Based on the slopes of the majestic Swartberg Mountain on top of the Piekenierskloof plateau, Swartberg Wingerde is a place where time has stood still. Winemaker Rudiger Gretschel searched this remote region for decades to find the perfect plot of vineyards from which to make his exceptional wines. The Holism wines in particular celebrates the concept of Holism, centred on the notion that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It pays homage to the balance of all life and the interconnection of earth, organisms, elements, plants, man and everything beyond.
