Description
This whisky is a GlenDronach expression, which is a South African exclusive. It is matured solely in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it all the rich and spicy notes typical of such maturation. It is non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured, and bottled at 48%. The nose has a lot of stewed fruits and sweet sticky dates, with a coffee note and a walnut cake. The palate has lots of stewed fruits and sweet sticky dates, a dusting of mocha, and freshly cut herbs. The finish has a sweet honey and spice, with a barley note lingering until the end. The bottle size is 750ml.

Nose:Spiced honey and sweet raisins and sultanas, with a soft coffee note and walnut cake and a hint of orange.
Palate:Lots of stewed fruits and sweet sticky dates, a dusting of mocha combined with freshly cut herbs and a mellow earthy nuttiness of classic aged oak.
Finish:Sweet honey and spice fades over time with a barley note lingering until the end.
