The Hikari-Germ is a probiotic that is added to the Fancy Goldfish Food Balance. It is said to improve water quality, filter effectiveness, and growth rates. The food also includes animal and plant proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids, and fats. The food is small enough to be accepted by young goldfish, and is guaranteed to have an analysis of at least 45% crude protein, 5.0% crude fat, 3.0% crude fiber, and 1.8% moisture.

FEEDING
Feed 2 to 4 times daily, the amount your fish will consume within a few minutes. Care should be taken to avoid over-feeding. Always remove any uneaten food after the feeding period to avoid water quality issues. When the water temperature is consistently below 10C (50F) or above 30C (86F), reduce the amount of feed based on the activity level of your fish and the condition of your aquarium.
