Description
The Central Venous Catheter (CVC) is a long, thin, radio-opaque catheter used for intravenous (IV) infusion. It has a soft, flexible, and thin-tip design that avoids venous irritation. The CVC is inserted through a vein in the arm and passed through to the larger veins in the body. The CVC has a Centroflow junction hub for stitch fixation and transparent extension lines to help guide the catheter to the correct vein. The CVC is made of soft, kink-resistant material to avoid venous irritation. The CVC can be connected to up to four extension lines for additional infusion options. The CVC is packaged in a rigid container for fast preparation and convenient storage.
