The surgical suction hospivac 350 basic 5 is a portable device that is used to aspirate body fluids such as mucus or catarrh and/or blood. It is easily movable by means of wheels under the unit and a handle on top, allowing virtually continuous use. The device is made of highly heat resistant, electrically insulated plastic material in conformity with the latest European safety standards, and is supplied with two polycarbonate 2-litre autoclavable vessels complete with overflow valve. The aspiration regulator, located on the front panel, is equipped with a flowmeter for accurate measurement of the aspirated volume.
