Description
This is a description of a bottom drain for a concrete fish pond. The bottom drain has a round dome-shaped cover that is screwed on, and the opening can be adjusted to allow for sufficient flow. The floor of the fish pond slightly slopes towards the bottom drain to help with drainage.
A bottom drain's purpose is to serve as suction point from where water and waste products are pumped through to the filter system. The round dome-shaped cover are srew on and the opening can therefore be adjusted to allow for sufficient flow, as well as to prevent fish being caught in the flow of suction.
We suggest that the floor of the pond slightly slopes towards the bottom drain.
