Description
Chardonnay is a white wine made from the Chardonnay grape. It is typically fruity with a citrusy flavor and a dry finish. Kara-Tara is a joint venture between Rudger van Wyk, who was 2018 Diners Club Young Winemaker of the Year, and Jos* Conde of Stark-Cond* Wines. The name Kara-Tara refers to a small town near Knysna, where van Wyk grew up. The grapes for the wine are sourced from carefully selected premium vineyards in the Western Cape. The wine has the classic notes of lemon and grapefruit you would expect from Chardonnay, with hints of almond and a fine, mineral finish. The bottle size is 750ml.
