Description
This wine is from the Abrie Beeslaar Wines brand and was made in 2011. The wine is a Pinotage and is from a site-specific vineyard in the Simonsberg region outside Stellenbosch. The wine is a true expression of that vineyard and displays the power and concentration derived from the old bush vines. The wine has a little floral fragrance before cherries, plums as well as earth, spice and a hint of chocolate on the nose. On the palate, the fruit is pure and sweet, with no shortage of freshness. The tannins firm but fine. The wine is 750ml in size.
