Description
This is a Riedel Cornetto Confetti Decanter. It is a 1.2 liter hand-blown crystal glass decanter inspired by pop art. The long, thin shape of the Cornetto is perfect for decanting young wines and removing sediment from older wines. Its slim design means there is a smaller surface area exposed, so fragile older wines are not overexposed to oxygen. This piece features a coloured stripe through the design, achieved by introducing a rod of colored crystal (red, blue and green, respectively) into the molten glass before the decanter has been formed.
