This is a review of a champagne, HOXXOH Grand Cru, which was ranked by Andreas Larsson, the best sommelier in the world, as the fifth best champagne in 2020. The champagne has a bright light golden color with vivid young bubbles. The nose has vinous notes of brioche, fresh butter, roasted almond, ripe citrus, peach and white flower. The palate has good bite and tension in a vinous grower style with classic dosage, mild creaminess on the mid palate with nutty notes, fresh butter and stone fruit flavors. Good substance and length, already with some maturity and autolytic complexity. The grape variety is 100% Chardonnay. The dosage is 7 g/l BRUT. The champagne is limited edition of 8,000 bottles. The bottle size is 750ml.
