The body brush is to be used with dry skin and should be dry before use. Directions for use include brushing your skin in a circular, clockwise motion, using lighter pressure on thin skin and heavier pressure on thicker skin. The kit also includes instructions for massaging your face, neck, chest, and abdomen. The kit also includes instructions for oil massage (abhyanga) and hot oil massage (abhyanga).
The Ayurvedic Self Care Kit also includes a tongue scraper. The tongue scraper is to be used after brushing your teeth and should be gentle enough to avoid gagging, starting at the middle of your tongue. The kit also includes instructions for tongue scraping.
