Description
The Synology DiskStation DS1522+ is a 5-bay NAS solution that is powered by Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM). It offers a flexible all-in-one solution for data sharing, synchronization, backup, and surveillance. The DS1522+ supports 5 x SATA HDD/SSD 2.5" and 3.5" drives, and can be expanded to 15 drives with two Synology DX517 expansion units. The DS1522+ has up to 32 GB DDR4 ECC memory for protection against potential crashes and inadvertent changes in data. The DS1522+ has 4 x Gigabit RJ-45 ports, which can be bonded using Link Aggregation to provide automatic network failover and load balancing. The DS1522+ also has two built-in M.2 NVMe SSD cache slots, and an optional 10GbE RJ-45 Network Upgrade Module.
