It must be installed on the DC side of the PV system, before the inverter, and is commonly used in PV DC combiner boxes, inverters, controllers, and cabinets. It should not be used with AC circuits and proper earthing is necessary for installation. The device has a response time of less than 25ns and a maximum discharge current of 40KA. It is compatible with DC circuits only and can be installed using a din rail mount. The product comes with no warranty.
