Description
The 2023-release of Springbank Local Barley was made exclusively with Belgravia barley, grown locally on Glencraigs farm in Campbeltown, and matured in a combination of ex-sherry, ex-bourbon and ex-rum casks for 11 years, before being bottled in 2022.
Fruity aromas of papaya, mango, lemon and soft honeysuckle fill the nose, complemented by notes of bright citrus, Manuka honey, pear drops and sea salt on the palate. The finish brings lingering notes of soft peat smoke.
